Dr. Maryam Shambayati is a triple board certified pediatric gastroenterologist. She received her bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University, master’s degree from Georgetown University, and her medical degree from the University of North Texas.

 

She completed her pediatrics residency at the University of Texas at Houston followed by a pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma.

 

Dr. Shambayati is passionate about providing state-of-the-art care for her patients.  She has been recognized by the Crohns and Colitis Foundation as an Honored Hero for her work in pediatric inflammatory bowel disease.  Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics, Dr. Shambayati is a member of the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
